Practical Information<\/h1>\n

Here you can find some practical information on accommodation and travel and other things that might be good to know before and during the conference.<\/p>\n

Accomodation<\/h2>\n

There are numerous hotels located in central Uppsala, and you will find information about them through the website of Destionation Uppsala.<\/a>Please note that Swedish participants can find hotels offering \u201cramavtal\u201d through the website avropa.se.<\/a><\/p>\n

Travel to Uppsala<\/h2>\n

We highly recommend you, to consider traveling to Uppsala by train. \nUppsala is easily reached by train in just 40 minutes from Stockholm.<\/p>\n

If you fly to Arlanda Airport, you can comfortably continue to Uppsala by both airport buses and direct train, departing from SkyCity. The journey takes about 20 minutes. During the day, buses and trains depart twice an hour.<\/p>\n

Premises and accessibility<\/h2>\n

Where is the conference held?<\/h3>\n

Uppsala University Main Building (\u201cUniversitetshuset\u201d) can be found in central Uppsala, with street address Biskopsgatan 3, 753 10 Uppsala. It is within walking distance from the hotels we recommend.<\/p>\n

The main entrance is at the front of the building. Accessible entrance is available at the back of the building, from \u00d6vre Slottsgatan 7D. This door is open during business hours. You can also contact the staff using the intercom. As you enter the accessible entrance you will see the sign to the lift.<\/p>\n

The majority of the halls used at the conference are equipped with hearing loops. Small portable wireless hearing loops are also available upon request to use in all halls, please contact us to find out more.<\/p>\n

Parking<\/h3>\n

Please note that there are very few parking spots available outside the University Main Building. Parking is not allowed except in designated areas around the building.<\/p>\n

Yes, the conference will be accessible to wheelchair users. There is an elevator in the building, and no stages in the presentation rooms.<\/p>\n
